Professor Watt of Cambridge University finally cracked the secrets of temporal displacement, building a fully functional time machine in his cluttered laboratory. But when he fired it up for its maiden voyage, something went catastrophically wrong.
Now the machine is violently ricocheting through the ages, hurling you from one era to the next without warning. Each uncontrolled jump splinters the timeline further, and unless you can stabilize the machine, these temporal wounds will tear reality itself apart. You never know where – or when – you'll land next.
Navigate through shifting eras, decipher the Professor's frantic notes, and repair the mechanisms keeping time from completely falling apart. Each puzzle solved brings you closer to stability – or deeper into the time stream's chaos. Work together to rewire history before past, present, and future become an impossible tangle.

Another great escape room here. Did the new Time Machine, well worth the extra money. Lots of interesting puzzles & different doors/rooms to unlock. Helen, the host, was fab. Can't wait for their next new room
We have taken our team at Bayfield Training to the Lockhouse Escape Rooms annually for our Christmas Activity. This year we tried out the latest escape room 'Time Machine' which was excellent! Would recommend to other organisations and groups! Helen from lockhouse was great.
First time visiting, we did the Time Machine escape room. Well organised and great fun! Difficulty was about right, enough to be challenging but not impossible. We did need a few hints. Looking forward to doing one of the other rooms next time. It is quite dark in the escape room so you might need the torch on your phone for reading!
Fantastic experience in the Time Machine room! We went as a group with two families, three parents and four kids with mixed ages under 11 years old. The puzzle was challenging but the guide perfectly adapted to our ability level, and we got lots of clues - which didn't seem to bother the kids at all. Nothing was scary or inappropriate. Highly recommend
A fantastic experience tackling The Time Machine: great team of personable staff who clearly take pride in the authenticity of the set-up and their attention to detail, and are supportive when needed if you're struggling at any point. Very authentic and atmospheric, highly recommended, and great value :-)
This was a birthday treat for my teenage daughter and her friends. They opted for the time machine and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were super kind and patient whilst the kids were squealing in excitement (thank you) and lots of fun supporting them as they were solving the quizzes. We'll definitely go back and highly recommend it. In particular, I appreciated that the kids could play without adult supervision, they really didn't want us there! This flexibility for older children is great!
Time Travel escape room was really good. Difficult but not impossible. Worked very well with a family group of 6 people. Courtney was an excellent host. Highly recommend.
