I've tried all 3 rooms now, these escape rooms are really great and worth the money. There are lots of different puzzle and props in the rooms. The staff really make the experience with their enthusiasm! Would love to see this place grow into more of a board game cafe too!
Fantastic experience in the Time Machine room! We went as a group with two families, three parents and four kids with mixed ages under 11 years old. The puzzle was challenging but the guide perfectly adapted to our ability level, and we got lots of clues - which didn't seem to bother the kids at all. Nothing was scary or inappropriate. Highly recommend
Time Travel escape room was really good. Difficult but not impossible. Worked very well with a family group of 6 people. Courtney was an excellent host. Highly recommend.
We did the Egyptian Tomb, as a team building. Had a lot of fun and the game master Alex was absolutely amazing and was into the role the whole time. Will definitely recommend:)
Some friends and I came here and did The Tomb. It was incredible! The puzzles were really well thought out and Paul and the staff there were so friendly and nice. Can't wait to come again! Thanks so much!!!
I did the secret agent room with three friends and it was hilarious fun. Helen was lovely, she got us into the mood for clue hunting, and she was great at giving us hints/tips when we needed them
I've done all three rooms and would thoroughly recommend them to anyone who likes a good escape room. Particularly liked the secret agent and Egyptian tomb!
wow - so much fun, every last detail thought out incredibly well, and really gets the old brainbox ticking to figure it out. we will absolutely return, the egyptian tomb is next I think! keep up the good work and we'll see you soon!

A good activity for a group of friends or family. 3 different themes. Takes around an hour to do and costs roughly £20 per person. Well worth it, thoroughly entertaining.
We had a fantastic time escaping from the Egyptian Tomb (no prior knowledge about the ancient Egyptians required!). We will definitely be going back to crack another mystery and hopefully set a record! This would be a great activity for birthdays, stag/hens, work outings - use any excuse you have to get over to LockHouse!!
Today was such unexpected fun. We had a group of 6 people, aged 12 to respectable wise adult ages :) The whole experience was memorable, the staff were friendly, helpful and great sports. (Especially Fred)
I attended as part of a team building event whilst staying at the lovely Varsity hotel up the road - the hotel is very close and we spent a great hour playing what was an exciting and engaging game - fantastic for team building and James who ran it for us was great
The new Mayan temple room is so good - really immersive. I don’t usually like escape rooms. Harry ran it very effectively. His character was believable. Joel hosted us wonderfully. Thank you we’ll be back.
We had a surprise birthday party here!!! Harry was absolutely amazing, with trains delayed and staying open later we are all hugely appreciative of all the effort he made!! Thank you so much x
The puzzles are really fun to play and they really get you thinking. The people in the shop are great, you can tell they really love what they are doing and how much they put into their acting and getting people excited and having fun.
Group of 5 of us ages 12-21 did the Armageddon room and had a great time, Fred was a brilliant host and all the staff at reception were fantastic in giving us puzzles to do when we arrived early! :)
Had a lovely exciting time in the mayan temple escape room and the and the staff member helping us (Helen) was so nice and also very immersive when we were in the room! Wonderful experience and fabulous people, 10/10!
This was a great escape room experience! I went with a large group with a lot of first time players, and we tackled Armageddon with great success. Gamemaster Ellie put up with our shenanigans and played along and really set us up for success!!
For a stag do we booked two of the escape rooms, I did the Egyptian Tomb one, which was great fun, thanks to Mary for the story. The puzzles are fun, and once you get into the swing of things everything falls nicely into place. A great way to spend an hour in Cambridge.
First time visiting and would definitely go back. We did the Mayan Temple and found it to be one of the best escape rooms we've done ( and we've done a few!). Help was available if needed, but only if we asked, which was appreciated, as it's often more fun trying different things first. Looks like new rooms are being developed so will be keeping our eyes open.
Went there for the first time today and had a great fun. Joel was really helpful to reschedule due to an issue from our side on phone. When we arrived there, Joel gave an enthusiastic introduction to our mission. And we saved the world with the help from him. :)
Great fun & very flexible with our group's booking - we thought we'd need to do two groups but squeezed in to one, which was much nicer. Rooms seem pitched just right to be fun and challenging.
I'd never participated in an escape game before and I was full of trepidation but it was really good fun, and John, our guide and clue-master, was absolutely fabulous.
Great experience! Staff are very welcoming and funny. I rocked up spontaneously to play one of the rooms and was not disappointed. Tips are given to you throughout the game if requested. Would definitely recommend.
